How Can Oxidation In Veins And Arteries Be Prevented?

Eating a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and avoiding tobacco and other unhealthy lifestyle habits are essential to promoting arterial health.

How can oxidation in veins and arteries be prevented?

Free radicals can cause oxidation in veins and arteries. Inflammation caused by various foods and unhealthy habits can also be responsible.

Some substances have a pro-oxidative effect and therefore increase the risk of heart disease –  this is the case with nicotine, for example.  Diet and pollution can accelerate oxidation in veins and arteries.

Does that mean there is nothing you can do about free radicals? Of course, the passage of time and the effects of these elements on our organism cannot be stopped.

However, if you  regularly follow various dietary recommendations  and also consider other simple strategies, you can protect yourself effectively.

We invite you to learn more about it and put these tips into practice.

Consequences of arterial oxidation

Whether you are more or less attacked by free radicals  often depends on your state of health.

If the organism is used to toxins from a diet rich in fat and sugar or to the harmful substances in tobacco, the effect of oxidation is far stronger.

Various studies have shown that, for example, oxidative stress, which is caused by more free radicals and less nitric oxide, leads to increased blood pressure.

It is important to ensure internal balance.

If you can’t protect yourself from environmental free radicals,  you shouldn’t add to your vulnerability by poor diet or unhealthy lifestyle habits  such as lack of exercise or tobacco.

Below are a few examples of what arterial oxidation can do:

  • Arterial oxidation gradually leads to  blockage of the heart arteries. This increases the risk of a heart attack.
  • In addition, there are  circulatory disorders.  Over time, tingling, numbness, or coldness may be felt in the legs. The reason for this is that the blood circulation in the extremities is not working properly.
  • The blood flow to the brain is also disturbed over time, which is why the risk of dementia increases over  the years.
  • The blood vessels are weakened, are no longer as flexible and  aneurysms can occur.
  • Due to arterial oxidation, the blood no longer contains as many nutrients – this should not be forgotten either.

One consequence of arterial oxidation is that pollutants are accumulated in the organism, causing  inflammation and joint pain.

Natural recipe against arterial oxidation

oats

There are many ways to prevent arterial oxidation. Healthy lifestyle habits are crucial. Simple, natural remedies can also be very helpful.

We invite you to try this recipe with almonds and oats.

ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons organic whole grain oat flakes (50 g)
  • 6 almonds
  • 1 glass of water (200 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (25 g)

preparation

  • Instant oatmeal can also be used if desired. However, we recommend organically grown wholegrain oats, which are available in health food stores. Soak the oatmeal in water overnight, then drain the water the next day.
  • The oatmeal is then boiled in a glass of water. Add the honey and stir constantly.
  • The 6 almonds are chopped and then mixed with the oats and honey. It is best to use a stand mixer or blender to process all the ingredients into a homogeneous mixed drink.
  • We recommend this drink for breakfast. It strengthens veins and arteries  and protects against cell oxidation.
