Many suffer from pain  in the lower back. The causes for this can be varied: an incorrect sleeping position, too little sleep or stiffness, overload during the day, incorrect posture, etc.

In today’s article, we would like to give you some simple and effective tips to pain  in alleviating lower back.

Why do I have lower back pain?

Many people experience pain in their lower back.

Standing or sitting for hours is often responsible, but diet, emotions, lack of or incorrectly performed exercise, gastrointestinal disorders  and other factors also play an important role.

The kidneys are also directly related to the back because they are very close. For this reason, these should always be observed and maintained.

1. Hot water jets

This pain can be relieved with warm water,  cold water, moisture and sedentariness are not recommended in this case.

The hydrotherapy is carried out as follows:

  • The water jet should initially be lukewarm and then you should move it from side to side. Gradually increase the temperature until a tolerable warm temperature is reached.
  • Perform 3-4 minutes, preferably sitting.
  • It would be ideal if someone could help us and we could sit relaxed and comfortably.
  • This method should not be used in sciatica or inguinal hernias.

2. Alternating temperatures

Water is also used for this method. Alternating cold and warm water can reduce inflammation and promote  blood circulation.

Again, someone should help you. You will need warm and cool (not too cold) water and 2 medium-sized towels.

  • Moisten 1 towel with warm water, squeeze it out a little and place it on the affected area. For this you should lie on your stomach.
  • Let the warm towel work for 30-60 minutes.
  • Then carry out the same procedure with cold water.
  • Repeat at least 5 times each time and always finish with warm water.
  • Then dry the treated area thoroughly and keep it warm.

3. Massage with sesame arnica oil

Massage can work wonders for back pain. The lumbar area is also an area that we can easily reach ourselves, although it is more convenient for someone to do the massage.

For this massage, you can use sesame oil with arnica (oil, gel, or cream) to warm the area and reduce inflammation.

  • Begin with a gentle massage to warm up and prepare the area. Do not exert any pressure.
  • Now apply some pressure on both sides of the spine and make vertical movements.
  • Then massage the hip area.

4. Cabbage envelope

This remedy can also be used at home. All you need is a few fresh cabbage leaves.

Cabbage has anti-inflammatory properties and can also be used on all parts of the body (on the abdomen for menstrual cramps, for knee pain, etc.).

  • 4-6 fresh cabbage leaves, the greener the better.
  • Bring water to a boil, then soak the leaves for no more than 10 seconds.
  • Mash these with a mortar so that the juice comes out.
  • Place it on the lower back while still warm, first with a cloth and over it with a dry towel.
  • Then leave it on for 15 minutes.
  • Repeat 2-3 times a day.
